A HIGH-LEVEL PLATFORM HOSTED IN THE STATE OF QATAR

On 8 December 2025, in the State of Qatar, and on the sidelines of the Doha Forum, Choiseul Middle East convened the inaugural Africa–Gulf Cooperation Dialogue, marking Choiseul’s first major high-level convening in the Gulf region.

Held in Doha, this initiative brought together senior public officials, leading investors and business leaders from Africa, the Gulf and beyond, in a setting reflecting the State of Qatar’s longstanding commitment to dialogue, multilateral cooperation and global engagement.

A DIALOGUE SHAPED BY SENIOR LEADERSHIP

The discussions benefited from the participation of a diverse group of high-level figures, including senior ministers, institutional leaders and private-sector decision-makers.

Their contributions, alongside those of other distinguished participants, enriched the Dialogue with complementary perspectives on investment, private-sector mobilisation and cross-regional cooperation.

FROM A LANDMARK DIALOGUE TO A LONG-TERM PRESENCE

The success and strategic resonance of this inaugural Dialogue paved the way for the establishment of Choiseul Qatar, anchoring Choiseul’s long-term presence in the State of Qatar and reinforcing Doha’s role as a key hub for Africa–Gulf strategic engagement.

ALIGNED WITH QATAR'S VISION AND THE DOHA FORUM'S GLOBAL MISSION

Organised alongside the Doha Forum, a flagship international platform hosted by the State of Qatar, the Africa–Gulf Cooperation Dialogue contributed to broader efforts to promote international cooperation and translate strategic dialogue into actionable pathways. The initiative highlighted the growing importance of Africa–Gulf relations within global economic and geopolitical agendas.

Through this platform, and with the launch of Choiseul Qatar, Choiseul Middle East reaffirms its commitment to convening trusted, high-level spaces for dialogue in partnership with leading global hubs such as Doha, and to supporting the development of durable, impact-driven partnerships between Africa and the Gulf.

GALA DINNER AT FOUR SEASONS DOHA

In partnership with Visit Qatar, Choiseul hosted an exclusive gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha, bringing together senior leaders from diplomatic, economic and institutional spheres in a highly discreet setting.

The evening welcomed an exceptional audience, including around thirty ambassadors and prominent figures from the region’s strategic ecosystem. Choiseul was honoured by the presence of Sheikh Jabor Bin Mansour Bin Jabor Al Thani, underscoring the significance of this convening.

Beyond the moment itself, the Gala Dinner reflected a broader momentum: the strengthening of Doha as a major hub for strategic dialogue and international connectivity, and Choiseul’s ambition to contribute—through trust-based formats—to long-term cooperation and informed decision-making.
